Research programs

Within the framework of the Israeli-French agreement on scientific cooperation, the Ministry of Science and Technology of the State of Israel, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of National Education and Research of France have decided to provide financial support for Research Networks Programs carried out by scientists of the two countries.

The aim of these programs is to support the development of a scientific and technological cooperation between the French and Israeli teams of research. These programs would strengthen the scientific partnerships by enhancing the constitution of bilateral networks of research involving from 3 to 6 French and Israeli teams. However, projects proposed by two teams (one French and one Israeli) are not formally excluded. Each research project will be coordinated by two Principal Investigators (PI), one from each country.

These programs are jointly funded by:

  • French side: by the Ministère des Affaires étrangères and the Ministère de l’Education nationale, de l’Enseignement Supérieur et de la Recherche.
  • Israeli side: by the Ministry of Science, Culture and Sport (MOST).

I would like to know the funding possibilities to support joint research projects on medical molecular imaging between French research units and Tel Aviv University.

do you offer grants for individuals and/or support to scientific projects?

do you support funding for organising exploratory visits to Israeli labs to identify the most relevant units to the topic of molecular imaging?

    best regards
