La Cinémathèque de Tel Aviv (Rehov Shprintzak 2) et le Bureau pour la Science et la Technologie de l’Ambassade de France en Israël présente le film « HOME » de Yann Arthus-Bertrand, le premier film tourné intégralement de manière aérienne: 217 jours de tournage dans 54 pays incluant Israël, illustrant l’impact de l’activité humaine sur la Terre.
Le 16 octobre, dans le cadre de la série mensuelle liée à la section hebdomadaire de la Bible lue le Shabbat à la synagogue, une conférence sera ouverte à 11h par l’acteur M. Matti Seri et la Paracha de la semaine, Bereshit, sera commentée par le Grand Rabbin de Tel-Aviv, Rav Yisrael Meir Lau à 11h15.
L’Ambassadeur de France en Israël SEM Christophe Bigot et le Docteur Husam Masalha, Directeur de la Division pour l’Environnement et l’Agriculture du Ministère de la Science et de la Technologie présenteront le film qui sera projeté à 11h55. La projection sera suivie d’un cocktail à 13h45.

The cinematheque carries out monthly series related to the weekly section of the bible read on Shabbat. On October 16th, the program combines a conference about Bereshit followed by a movie. The Cinematheque (Rehov Shprintzak 2, Tel-Aviv) and the Office for Science and Technology of the French Embassy chose the movie “HOME”. This is the first ever made movie with full aerial shooting: 217 days of shooting in 54 countries including Israel. This movie is an alert on how human activities impact on the earth.
